    Fernando Correia

    University of Exeter Business School

    The mission of this leading UK business school is to provide outstanding and innovative business education, research and engagement with society. Its specialist Centre for Leadership Studies focuses on developing leaders for the future – currently the only such university centre in Europe.

    As a Research Fellow, Fernando is responsible for the Business School’s work on sustainable and low-carbon supply chain management, its leadership development programme for senior managers in purchasing departments, its transnational partnerships, and the dissemination and mainstreaming of research findings.

    Fernando has a background and a PhD in ecology, rural development work and sustainable tourism.

  • Paul Holmes

    Paul Holmes

    Eden Project

    The Eden Project is a social enterprise, educational charity and tourist attraction with over 10 years’ experience of tackling sustainability issues. Through programmes like Clear About Carbon and Green Foundation, a free training course for Cornish companies, it is sharing its own learning and expertise with local businesses and organisations.

    With experience of managing the local supply chain at Eden, Paul has an invaluable working knowledge of Cornish sustainable procurement issues. He also brings with him knowledge and experience of working with the SME community at the Rural Development Commission’s Business Service and the London-based consultancy Food from Britain.

  • David Morgan

    David Morgan

    Cornwall Development Company

    Through the Low Carbon Cornwall programme, Cornwall Development Company is working to harness both the collective power of the public sector and capture the entrepreneurial spirit of Cornish business to lead a new ‘knowledge-based’ and ‘green’ economy.

    David is carrying out supply chain mapping for Cornwall’s public sector and developing and delivering basic carbon literacy awareness sessions for both the public and private sectors.

    He has experience in coordinating large conferences and events, running sustainability projects, and has recently completed an MSc in Climate Change and Risk Management.

  • Matthew Siggs

    Matt Siggs

    Duchy College Rural Business School

    The business school provides a range of services tailored for rural communities, including training, business support and applied research.

    Through Duchy College, Matt is working to both measure and boost the carbon literacy of the food and farming sector. The outreach work involves the development of producer and processor workshops in carbon literacy and management.

    He has personal experience of farm management in Devon and Kent, of running a recycling farm plastic business and of developing the sustainability policy for a start-up international agricultural company producing rice, beans and palm oil in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
